Google executive Serge Lachapelle joins Disruptive Ventures as partner

Disruptive Ventures strengthens the team with Serge Lachapelle, former Site Lead and Product Director at Google, as a new partner. He'll play a central role in the firm's focus on small Swedish tech companies.

Serge brings deep specialist expertise and will play a pivotal role in Disruptive Ventures' focus on small Swedish tech companies.

There, he became a key figure in developing Google's communication solutions, including Hangouts, Meet and WebRTC. His path from entrepreneur to senior product executive at one of the world's largest tech platforms makes him particularly well-suited to understand both the challenges and the opportunities Swedish tech entrepreneurs face when scaling their products.

My passion has always been innovation and people. Now I look forward to using my experience from Google to concretely help tech entrepreneurs realise their dreams and grow more Swedish tech companies big.

"As hands-on investors, we are thrilled to welcome Serge to Disruptive Ventures. His experience of both building companies from the ground up and scaling them globally within one of the world's most successful tech corporations will be invaluable to our portfolio companies. Serge will be a catalyst in helping Swedish entrepreneurs grow faster and stronger than ever before,": Niklas Jansson, CEO, Disruptive Ventures.
