How we handle your data.
We collect as little as possible. This page sets out what that is, why we have it, and what you can ask of us.

Who is responsible.
Disruptive Ventures AB, company number 559399-3453, Bergsboda 184, 905 96 Umeå, Sweden, is the data controller for the processing described here. You can reach us at hello@disruptiveventures.se.
When you visit the site.
The site is hosted by Vercel. Their servers automatically log technical information about every visit: IP address, time, which page was requested, browser and operating system. That is necessary to serve the site and to detect outages and attacks.
We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used: which pages get read, how the visitor found their way here, and roughly where in the world they are. This only happens if you have said yes to cookies, and Google Analytics does not store your full IP address.
We have no tracking pixels and no advertising tools. We share nothing with ad networks and we do not use what we measure to target ads at you.
Cookies.
Two cookies are necessary and are always set. NEXT_LOCALE stores which language the site should be shown in and lasts a year. dv-consent stores what you answered to the cookie question and lasts six months. Neither follows you between websites or is used to build a profile, and a cookie that only remembers a choice you made yourself requires no consent.
If you say yes to measurement, Google Analytics also sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by a code. They tell a returning visitor from a new one and last up to two years. The legal basis for them is your consent, and nothing else.
If you say no, Google Analytics does not load at all, and there are no measurement cookies to consider. Declining is one click, exactly like accepting. You can change your mind at any time via Cookie settings at the foot of the page, and we will ask again after six months.
Fonts.
The site's typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. That means your browser contacts a Google server, which receives your IP address. Google sets no cookie for it, but the transfer happens and you should know about it.
When you get in touch.
If you email us we process what you write: your name, your address and the content of the message. We use it to reply and to assess a possible partnership. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in being able to hold a conversation with someone who contacts us.
If you send us a company for evaluation we treat the material as confidential. We do not pass it on outside our own team without asking you first.
If you reach us through a form rather than by email, you actively tick a box allowing us to contact you. That box is then the legal basis: your consent. You can ask us to delete what you sent at any time.
Who else sees the data.
Vercel hosts the site and therefore processes the server logs on our behalf. Google processes the measurement data in Google Analytics and also serves the typefaces, receiving your IP address when they are fetched. Our email provider processes what you send us. We sell no data and disclose nothing to anyone else, except where the law requires it of us.
Some of these providers may process data outside the EU and the EEA. Where they do, the transfer is made with the safeguards the GDPR requires.
How long we keep it.
Server logs are rotated by our provider. Measurement data in Google Analytics expires automatically according to the retention period we have set in the service. Email and material sent to us is kept while the conversation is live and while we need to be able to return to it. Once there is no longer a reason to hold the data, we delete it.
Your rights.
You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to object to our processing it. You also have the right to receive it in a machine-readable format. Write to hello@disruptiveventures.se and we will answer.
If you believe we are handling your data wrongly, you have the right to complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, imy.se.
If we change anything.
If we change how we process data we will update this page and the date at the top. We will not change it quietly.
