LunaLEC develops and manufactures printed, lightweight, and flexible light sources using technology based on Light-Emitting Electrochemical Cells (LEC). Their specialty is the Lumifoil series – thin, flexible, and customizable light elements that can be shaped for many different products.

The technology is based on a patented and cost-effective manufacturing method that can completely avoid rare earth metals and other materials with significant environmental impact. LunaLEC's products operate on low voltage – typically 3-6 V – and can be made so thin that they are almost like an ultra-light foil.
