Strativ was founded in 2017 by Abdullah Yousuf and connects two tech environments: project management and client ownership in Sweden, a large development team in Dhaka. Around sixty engineers and more than a hundred customers, with deliveries spanning cloud web applications and e-commerce through to AI systems.

The model isn't new, but it is hard to make work. What decides it isn't the hourly rate but whether the team in Dhaka understands the customer's business well enough to make its own calls. Strativ has built the company around that question rather than around capacity.

For the portfolio it means something extra: engineering capacity other DV companies can use when they need to build faster than they can hire.
